The narrower meaning of Education is limited to acquiring knowledge of the surrounding world of a person but the broader meaning of Education is acquiring knowledge about the soul, about self, it’s all about self-enlightenment and self realization Many Philosopher Educationist like MAHATMA GANDHI, GURUDEV ARVIND,SWAMI VIVEKANAND, DR. RADHAKRISHANAN, GURUDEV RAVINDRANATH TAGORE ,etc. and from western world LIKE PLATO, ROUSSEAU ,J DEWEY etc. have expressed their respective views about Education.

              “ Modem education has helped man to gain knowledge around himself but not about the self . Man is not happy in all type a comforts though he has all tools of external happiness. He has knowledge about objective management but he is ignorant about subjective management.” Swami Chinmayananda expressed these thought in his discourse, sermons. Individual Development is possible through personality development. Education is the important tool of self development, personality development. The ultimate aim of education are to develop all round personality through moral and spiritual education, to develop concept of personality development, concept of Dharma, Mind and to carve the human personality .This is true education.

So we have to think that what is true education? What is true meaning of personality development? What is Dharma? What is co-relation between Dharma and Education?
